ABOUT nurch•her

Our Story

Care created for the fourth trimester, rooted in calm, presence, and steady support.

At nurch•her, we believe care is not just something you give. It’s something you become.

Our name began as a quiet reimagining of nurture her, a reflection of the mother at the center of the fourth trimester, the baby she is learning and bonding with, and the family finding its new rhythm together during one of life’s most tender transitions.

nurch: to hold, support, and steady. •: a pause, a breath, a moment of intention. her: the origin of the name and a reminder to center the parent who is healing, adjusting, and becoming.

While the name was born from my personal experiences with motherhood, nurch•her is a space for every family, inclusive of all parents, identities, family structures, and paths into parenthood.

We are here for the in-between space, when you’re learning your baby, finding a new rhythm at home, and navigating days that can feel beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and uncertain all at once.

A reminder to care for the parent while nurturing the baby with grounded guidance, calm in the chaos, and support that feels intuitive rather than clinical.

Meet the founder

Brandalyn

I’m a second-generation postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and sleep consultant, but the heart behind this work began long before the certifications. Becoming a mother young shaped the way I understand the vulnerability, uncertainty, and beauty of those early days, and it’s a big part of why supporting families through this season has always felt so personal to me.

For nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of stepping into homes during some of their most tender transitions. I love being the calm presence in the room, the person who notices what’s needed, helps things feel a little more manageable, and reminds parents to trust themselves as they find their own rhythm.

Outside of work, I’m the happiest with an iced espresso in hand, spending time with my family and grandbabies, getting lost in a good book, hiking, traveling, and appreciating the simple things: sunrises, sunsets, and soaking in some sunshine.

  • Motherhood is a season of becoming, adjusting, and finding your own rhythm.

  • The fourth trimester is tender, transformative, and worthy of support.

  • Sometimes the greatest support is simply having someone quietly steady what feels heavy.
